Students will learn how to make an interactive holiday card with a popular game character.

hello everyone this is what we're going to make today this nice little Among Us characters taking a Christmas tree home to his family in Flames but we do know it's amungus people be petted like this so my son's got to pet him and say hello to the mug all right is the lesson it open it's going to be kind of a secret card so it's going to have a element of surprise this what it looks like clothes foot bottom Merry Christmas or whatever you say happy holidays to be a snowman out of there whatever you want so let's get started first mache how to fold the paper that is Portrait style but we're not going to use that way that is laying landscape style landscape Style hairstyle we are asked to take the bottom of the paper and Fold It To The Top Line it up really nicely to put your fold in my dad's then when you turn it is kind of looks looks like a pamphlet or like a Christmas card or a holiday card but hurry back this way and I have you take the very top of the paper where make one more full version take that very top flap and Fold It Down to the bottom sole put your crease in now we kind of made this sort of like a machine like a really simple machine that opens and closes so we are going to draw are Among Us character first we're going to color it to but first we're just going to worry about but I want you to use a pencil I'm going to use a marker you can erase pencil you cannot erase marker so once you do you keep your pencil and eraser handy start with your pencil I'm going to do the Sharpie to because you can see a better on the camera if I use a pencil it's or difficult to see which means if I mess up I cannot fix it let's start with CI the eye is different on this one because you were not looking straight at him looking at him from the side so we should start by making a sort of a c-shaped but kind of a squared off looking C like that I'm going to be in Weiser I care that around and I'll make time and over on the other end right see the oval nasty because I didn't use pencil I kind of my lines a little wonky but I'm going to go with I can't because I didn't I can't erase it and start over but okay now I'm a start above the mass and make the top part of that was to make a straight line on the top and then make another straight line of the bottom and this one is going to go over the fold Ricky Oliver send them to the top of his head sore just a curved line he is look heel like he is looking off to the right because when I put his mask draws feet like a smiley face right there bring it up now you want to make sure you try to get both legs similar one side bigger than the other I am a lioness up Can't Get Enough because that forward it's a little tricky to draw over the phone Justice backpack brownie face with a line and then a smiley face another line that's basically an amongus character right there but now isn't two points to really look at when it's close is what you're going to see but now we're going to open it and what's really great about these is this whole space in the middle of whole White Blank Space in the middle I can draw anything I want to I can fill up that whole Space so I'm going to make him sort of look like an imposter when you open the Cardinals or was like an imposter we should have like a tongue sticking out I'm going to take this how to make a really light pencil marks on that fold you'll know where not to go past that you can't go past those lines do you to go above that or kind of mess up the illusion of the card so don't go above those lights table of his life sample oh and above that fool right there so you have space in the middle all you want to try not to go above or below into the amongus character I make it really exaggerated show me a giant sea shape letter C shape usually exaggerating art back down to make the rest of them I can see how you can't see it now that's what I want I want to be able to see everything I've done the inside, because I don't have time to do the back part of the head to another C shape now do the backpack too all right inside here is I'm going to put my tree in a process of words in their tongue come straight out of those absurd has that top comes out so I'm going to turn it sideways because I want to know that tree coming out to draw the tree sideways I guess would be difficult but if I turn the paper I can draw the tree kind of straight which makes it a lot easier to do like this make the tree kind of Ark to little art not just Raven down again a little curve to but this is the shape you're going to use Striker tri-light these little sword Beth-El shapes to get longer and bigger as they go down let me see the other side delusion of a pine tree and on top of the draw Star I dropped my stars that start with an upside down v a sideways V and then the very bottom one is actually like it makes a w shape Citadel there it is tree imposter can I put some bulbs on different size of a little interest I'll color these later hair different colors does it have to have a star or a bulbs on it could just be a pine tree or you can make a snowman coming out of his mouth now when I close it I can't see anything that's I don't want to see any of that stuff in the inside right some words in here I think I'm going to ride happy holidays now to see how to draw bubble letters if you don't have to drop off a lighters I kind of tricky at first this is a nice trick to learn how to draw I'm so first take a regular letter this one's an H make a really light with pencil pencil first very lightly then if you draw around it I'm in like a bubble fashion that's how you can make chi and make bubble letters if you don't really know how to make them now I have to do is erase that first hi Drew that's in the middle and I have a bubble letter H that simple. You do that with all the letters but is that kind of work John is going to roll with a sharpie so you don't have to watch me make all these using oregano right now I liked you overlap letters I think it looks interest so it's not just making us a by itself I'm going to make it overlap that h a little bit same thing with the p NY the widest overlaps a little bit I get that wonderful holidays on the bottom but the problem is holidays is on much longer word and I'll have as much space in there that's a good thing. decide you can make up some distance by overlapping the letters a lot more Ragnar sound starts running his face because I overlap a lock make it see you overlap a lot why I can't just be able to squeeze a snare that was the problem with not with these marker why you spent like racing to make that first letter smart but I kind of like how it tapers off to being smaller but I put some little exclamation signs on the star to kind of make it look like it's shining erase those remember those lines were just beginning so we knew not to go above those last win a race those I want to draw a couple extra things in there I think I'm going to draw a snowman want to fill up that whole Space so much Austin oh man this is hat not going to see the whole three giant snowball so I'll just go see maybe two of them a scarf there's face current news going to be the long ends of a scarf blowing in the breeze I'll see what I see how about a gingerbread man when you squeeze a man play here cancel my eyes nose he looks like Jack Skeleton as a ginger Thanos right it's time to color this thing let's see now you can call it a different way they have a lot of Shadows not a lot of Shadows in the game when are they drawing the show me some Shadow lines I'm going to use this orange marker and colored pencils I'm kind of just kind of combined I'm altogether I like to combine markers and colored pencils sometimes because markers make a nice grey outline but didn't even use the inside of the object with color pencils little dollar but it's sort of softer I'm going to color this I'll probably speed it up so you guys can watch it in fast motion I'm going to also color the inside okay I'm finishing up coloring it's a lot of oranges and yellows lot of warm colors if for some reason they're too FN SCAR penciling this bread man with I have a light brown color I guess is it hope you enjoyed your amongus holiday and posture and I will see you guys soon have a great break
