This year, Buchanan Elementary School and MTSU’s College of Education expanded their writing partnership for kindergarten to include first and second grades.
Each nine weeks, students will focus on a different form of writing. For the first celebration of the year, students wrote about themselves in a variety of settings. They shared their work with parents, school staff and community partners and received written compliments on their work.
