Welcome to Mrs. Edwards' Class!

My name is Rebekah Edwards, and I teach special education in a structured setting. I am very excited to be serving your family and our Buchanan community. I look forward meeting you and growing alongside of your kiddo.

 

I began my career in education in 1997 and have served in various roles over the years, particularly in relation to at risk youth. I have been with Rutherford County Schools since 2017 and began teaching special education at Buchanan Elementary in 2023. My undergraduate degree is in science from Miami University (Ohio), and I hold a master's degree in education from Lipscomb University. I have been married to Todd since 1997, and we have one adult son. I am also a dog mom! We LOVE our Mallie (West Highland White Terrier) and Wallace (Golden Retriever). We attend church at Believer's Chapel in Murfreesboro.
