The Amazing Shake

We are very excited for our 5th graders to have this opportunity!

Below is information to help you practice at home.  Remember the key points above and watch the videos to get an idea of how the Gauntlet round (stations) will work.  Practice different scenarios at home to give yourself practice in being creative - just like you did at our Round Two of the BES Amazing Shake!

Keep practicing these important points -
  • Handshake - Firm, not floppy fish, not too tight!
  • Eye Contact - Look judges in the eyes!
  • Keep the Conversation Moving - Ask questions!
  • First impressions are important - Dress to impress!
