Students use Origami and scissors to create an individual snowflake design.

hello everyone mr. Breedlove hear your art teacher your new art teacher at Buchanan Elementary School today and I teach you how to make a snowflake paper I have a normal regular piece of copy paper so this what you need you need newspaper and you need some scissors grown-ups is our you need some smaller scissors kids sit there so you don't cut yourself so ask your mom and dad for scissors and one piece paper alright the song restart this is an origami the snowflakes are origami in a lot of origami starts with square paper paper is not Square it's what shape rectangle so what to make with paper Square first this park is a little tricky so you can make sure you pay attention she going to take one corner of your paper must start with this corner and I'm going to fold it up and like I kind of actually going to make it go this way not straight up not like this may make you go this direction so I was going to make the paper go to this line as Foreman I want to make these two find this line and this line line up as perfect as I can are there unless I think I got them I'm going to hold it down now I'm supposed to fold in you made a triangle right triangle but now we no longer need this rectangle going to cut this off the paper out will have asked where you'll see what I mean in a second so cuz this paper construct a glove use this as your guideline don't go this way you can use this later so hold on to this or sandpaper we are going to stop at the square we made pretty much a perfect well you know we really wanted to be a triangle I swear of a triangle best I want you to take this corner or the corner they're going to touch each other so what's this status bar Corners up right here it's it see that's not aligned right this isn't when the line them up as best as I can then apply finger there and pushed out now I can go back scores of the fold like that melek we met a smaller triangle or the roof to a house or bird and he was trying to look this good of a triangle and made it a small triangle we're going to make a smaller one more time so take this end I started the fool that says it says open that's a little harder to get these two to move but it's easy to get this old move them to take this and old and I landed up with these two guys over here best I can figure on their push back towards the fold.
